This is a rather shabby, fishing themed establishment that is well known locally for their cheesesteaks.
The shop offers huge steaks and sub sandwiches with prices that have not gone up as long as I can remember (and that is a long time. ) The best part, though, is the staff. Owner Gus always has candies for the kids and will tell you stories…
Capt. Gus's has been a Lancaster landmark forever. Good solid cheese steaks, big sodas. Fun, kitchy decor and vinyl seats. Great place to get fast food with out resorting to the golden arches. You can smoke in there too!
